More dogs rehomed by GSDR

Sasha

This pretty girl is 3 yr old, spayed bitch, Sasha. Microchipped but not vaccinated. Sasha has always lived with her mum, also up for rehoming, Kersher, but is quite bossy with her, so we are rehoming them separately. Sasha is not keen on cats. Travels well. Housetrained. Sasha not used to being walked much, so needs some lead training. A beautiful girl, who will make a loving pet.

Buster

This beautifull boy is Buster, he greeted me with a big bushy wagging tail and kisses galore, this stunner is a big long coated sable, he is adorable, he is a very big boy and is 2yrs old, he has such a lovely soft temprement, he has not been with young children but children 12 and over is fine, very playfull with other dogs but not aggresive at all, no food or toy aggression, he has not been tested with cats, he does bark at passers by but soon settles when told, Buster is good at recall but do get a little travel sick, this boy would suit a family with older children and GSD experience to bring the best out of him, a little green around the edges but with a little time would be perfect, only up for rehoming due to a change in the present owners circumstances. Buster will be staying with his current owners in South Wales until a new forever home is found for him.

Prince, Harrogate - what a stunner this dog is.

Prince is a very striking boy.  Extremely energetic and alert, he needs an owner to match!! – we think he will thrive on the challenge of agility work.  He is dark sable in colour and entire.  He has lived with children in his previous home.  He is another dog who needs to be in a stable home environment and not in kennels (in the Harrogate area).

Ben - Harrogate

Ben, aged about 18 months and neutered, is very friendly and loves attention.  He is not doing well in kennels and needs a home where he will feel secure and get the socialisation and training he lacks.  We believe he will then become a great pet.  In kennels in the Harrogate area.

Kim

This beautiful 21mth old entire girl has not had the best start in life but her current owners have worked hard on her to try and bring out her good character.  At the moment she will wonder off with everyone, extended family members and even strangers.  She does have a bad habit of nipping people including children but this is a nervous reaction rather than aggression. She doesn't like loud people which results in her having little accidents around the home.  She can also open doors which for her own safety needs addressing.  She loves cuddles once she gets to know you and her commands are good. It is unknown what she is like around cats but has lived with other dogs who were more dominant than her. It would be best for her to be rehomed other older calmer children who have experience with GSDs.

Beau - Essex

Beau is about 18 months old and is neutered. We do not have much history on this poor boy who was saved from the pound. He is good with basic commands and likes treats and toys! He can be a bit noisy when you first meet him but then he just wants to be cuddled. A lovely tempered boy who gets on well with other dogs.

Ginny - Suffolk

Ginny is a 3yo bitch who has not yet been spayed.  She is long coated, vaccinations up to date but not yet microchipped.  She is great with children, does not travel in the car regularly but will soon adapt.  She does not react to the other dogs in the kennels and longs for someone to adopt her. Ginny has been in kennels since May due to her owner being hospitalized.  Due to her owners disabilities he will no longer be able to handle her from a wheelchair.  Ginny desperately need to get back into a family home where she will have somebody to care for her and give her a little attention.

Rocky - Kent

Rocky is  nearly 3 years old and entire. He is a white long haired shepherd. He plays with children and other dogs. He is better with bitches rather than males. Rocky chases cats. He is a lovely dog although a bit boisterous and will need some lead training as he does pull.  For this reason we would rehome with older children only. Our volunteer said he is very much a big puppy and would be easy to train.

Kaiser - Berks

Kaiser is a 1 year old entire male who is used to living in a family with young children and is docile towards them. The owners don’t have the time or the space he really needs and are reluctantly giving him up.  Kaiser is very nervous of strangers which leads him to behave aggressively and is not well socialised.  He has rarely been let off the lead.  He ideally needs a patient owner who can give him not only more exercise and stimulation but also the time to become more confident

Talullah - Milton Keynes

Talullah is a lovely lively 2yr old just wants to have fun.  She is good with other dogs but never seen cats.  She gets very excited when people arrive at the home jumping up and down pleased to see them so would be better rehomed with older children so she doesn’t knock toddlers over. She is good off lead but does slightly pull on lead so further training is required.  Even though she loves having a bath and has sometimes got in with the owner she wont go outside if raining.  She is a quick learner and eager to please and all round a lovely gorgeous dog.

Frankie

Meet Frankie he is a 1 yr old entire who has had a beautiful start to life he is excellent with new people and dogs polite sniff and then off he goes! Frankie has a wonderful temperament he is good with kids and has lived with cats. He has been living with another dog his age but would benefit from an older dog male or female to help show him the ropes. His favourite thing? Cuddles!! Least favourite? Livestock he must be kept on the lead around any livestock at all times. Frankie has been to puppy training and needs to go to someone who will continue this training to make sure this already wonderful dog meets his full potential.

Sarge - Kent

Sarge is a 6 year young spayed bitch. She is good with children, cats and other dogs.  Sarge is vaccinated and microchipped. She has had some training  and responds to whistles. Poor Sarge is being rehomed due to a relationship break up and her owner being disabled will not be able to give her the exercise she deserves on his own. All she needs is plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.

Pitash - Essex

This 5 year old unspayed bitch is currently in a foster home. She was being left all day at home whilst her owner went to work. She was living with 2 cats and was used to having small children around that visited. She is not good with other dogs though as she was attacked when a pup in the park. This lovely girl will make someone a fantastic companion.

Lucky - Bristol

Lucky is a 6 year old German Shepherd dog who needs some good luck now.. He is housetrained, non destructive, travels well in the car, and is fine on the lead . Lucky has come to us for re-homing due to a change of circumstances. Please note he is not suitable for living with very youn children, or cats and would be better as the only dog in the houeshold.

Marley and Theo - Somerset

These 2 lovely boys are Marley and Theo, GSD cross Husky (Marley has the black harness and Theo the red). They are approximately 2 years old and are brothers. Their current owner rescued them in this Summer as the previous owners just wanted them gone and they were living in awful conditions! Unfortunately she is not in a position to keep them long term. Both boys have been neutered and vaccinated. Marley and Theo are very friendly and sociable and good with children. They love to play with the other dogs in the house although can sometimes try to be a little dominant with the entire male husky. They love attention and are very affectionate. These boys are very close and we feel that they would be best kept together. They walk very well together and walk in perfect sync with each other. They are still just puppies, and sometimes forget their own strength when playing. Can you give these handsome boys a home?
