Sheba

sheba gsd

This is Sheba she was taken into kennels today and was very scared, we would like to find her a home ASAP as we do not think she will do well in kennels. Sheba is 21/2 yrs of age and is good with other dogs, children of all ages babies upwards. This is our volunteers report Sheba was a little nervous when first introduced to us but she was soon happy to be stroked. Sheba lives with a small dog and young children. Owner has no time to walk her and she is being left outside for very long periods. She does pull on the lead but that can soon be sorted. Sheba will make a very nice family pet.

Sam

sam gsd

This is Sam, he is 3 yrs old and neutered. He lives with children from the 9 yrs to 14 and is fine with them. Owners feel he is too protective of his home. and therefore have lost confidence in Sam when visitors arrive he is put outside. When volunteers went Sam was met outside as owners had requested one volunteer took Sam for a walk he was fine great on lead and followed commands. When brought into house volunteer played with Sam took toys off him and gave tit bits Sam was fine. Owners want Sam re homed as soon as possible.

DON"T LET MOSEY SPEND HIS 10th BIRTHDAY IN KENNELS

Mosey was once a cute little puppy but now he is 9 years old and has spent nearly a year in kennels. Mosey has been constantly overlooked in favour of younger dogs yet he has as much love to give and will be a great companion for his new owner. Are you that special person that can give Mosey his forever home?

Lady - Essex

lady the rottie

Lady the Rottie came to us after her owner, who was using her for breeding, died. Now she is 8 years old and finally she has started to enjoy her life! She has a brilliant temperament – it’s actually incredible how quickly she shook off her horrible past! She is great with people and other dogs. Currently she lives in a foster home with 3 other females, big and small, and she quickly made friends with all of them. She also spends a lot of time with the whole bunch of other canines and greets happily every person she meets, an adult or a child. She absolutely loves walks in parks and woodland but also enjoys every minute spent at home – she actually appreciates having finally her own bed (and being allowed on a couch too! ;) She is perfect in the house, does not destroy or chew anything and stays happily on her own without any trouble. She makes a good watch dog as she barks when someone approaches the door but in the end she greets everyone nicely. She is not used to cats and would chase them on the street, she also barks heavily at horses and would go after them if she was allowed. Not very good in the car but it could probably improve as she loves sitting in the car as long as it’s not moving! Do you have a space for lovely Lady in your heart and your home? Lady is in our care as she was given up together with a GSD and we couldn’t leave her behind just because she is of a different breed! If you would like to offer a home for Lady, please visit our adoption page and specify you are interested in her. If you’d like to have an informal chat about Lady, please call her foster mum, Gosia, on 0 7517 929 466 or email Gosia . More photos of Lady

Max - Lincs

max

Max is currently in foster in Lincs and has been for quite a while. The current fosterer sadly needs to go into hospital for a major operation and has no one else to look after Max.The fosterer has worked well with Max, he is now getting on with other dogs in the home environment; the fosterer actually fostered a couple of other dogs early in the year and Max was fine with them. He has bonded very closely with the fosterer and suffers with separation. Max hates kennels and it will set him back if he has to be put in them.

Wagbo

wagbo

This gorgeous little girl is our little mountain lion Wagbo. Wagbo is one of the 7 GSDx puppies rescued by GSDR earlier this year, weaned and thrown out at 5 weeks old. She has such a huge character in such a little body, it is amazing. So loveable, playfull, intelligent and really wanting a forever home of her own. How can you resist? Wagbo is 12.5 weeks old, fully vaccinated and has been wormed twice and also been treated for fleas.

Gismo

gizmo gsd cross puppy

This sexy young man is Gismo. He is the only boy left in this litter and is getting pushed around by the 3 bossy girls that are left, he longs for a bit of male bonding or even new mummy bonding. He is a brave little chap and looks after the girlies well, always first to check out new things and people! Fully vaccinated, wormed and flead.

Lolly

lolly gsd cross puppy

This is the lovely Lolly, along with her 2 litter sisters and bro is now looking for a special forever home so she can grow into the stunning dog she will become. Fully vaccinated, wormed and flead. She has a great little personality and makes me laugh all the time.

Molly - Hants

molly gsd

Molly is a 2 year spayed bitch. She is long haired. Molly is good with other dogs but over boisterous with young children and she will chase cats. She is currently living with other GSD’s and cats. She has never shown any aggression. Molly is being rehomed as her owner’s are losing their house and having to downsize their pet numbers. We don’t think this little girl has had the opportunity of much one to one which may calm her boisterous nature down. Molly can scale fences but again this could be due to lack of attention.

Holly - Kent

holly young gsd

This gorgeous young lady is Holly. She was 1 in November and is unspayed. Holly is a GSD cross Pyrenese. She is good with children, other dogs and cats. Her current owners do not have the time for her due to a relationship break up. Holly does need training and boundaries setting but is very intelligent and willing to learn.
