More dogs rehomed by GSDR

Heidi - Nuneaton

This truly stunning girl is 3 year old Heidi  who is very loyal and loving.  She is in desperate need of a forever home and would benefit from living with a steady male dog.  She is very playful, walks well on the lead and has excellent recall; when off-lead she completely ignores everyone/thing around her.  She is protective of the home and will bark at strangers so will need a firm handler who will take control.  Not food or toy aggressive.  She would suit a home with older children and definitely no cats.  Heidi needs a home now – can you help her?

Tess - Lincs

This is beautiful Tess, who is 6 years old and was born on Valentines Day 2004.  A short coated B&T who is up to date with vaccs, micro-chipped but not spayed.  She is good with children 8+, is house trained and travels well.  She is currently living with one of our fosterers who has kindly written the following:  Tess is the most adorable girl and is very receptive to fusses and strokes; she is very obedient, has good re-call and will even give you a "high 5"!!!  She loves her food and running after her ball, she is currently living with 2 other dogs and is ok with them but will bark at other dogs when out if they bark at her first.  She does not like cats or horses.  Is good on the lead.  Altogether a really gorgeous girl who needs a forever home soon.

JJ- Nuneaton

This poor boy is JJ, who is about 3-4 years old, he's champagne, long coat and in need of a good groom.   He was sadly kept outside tied to a stables along with another dog and thankfully we were able to rescue him just before Christmas.  Although he has settled in well in kennels he deserves a good home, he's a quiet boy who has not shown any interest in the other dogs there and was very curious when he saw the horses in the paddocks, just stood and stared!  Could you give this poor boy a home he so deserves? 

Zapher

Zapher is 6 yrs old full male fully vaccinated till end of May and Kennel Cough also microchipped, He has been in the kennels for nearly 2 yrs as the owner has been in hospital. He is a lovely friendly boy who loves people, and walks great on the lead. Likes other dogs as he lived with a male weimaraner. Not sure what he is like with cats.

Duke- Herts

Duke is a 3 year neutered male. He is a big dog and a little nervy with new people but loves attention and play. Used to living with young children. Came into foster with Tasha through no fault of his own. Has ignored foster mum’s horses. This super young man would benefit from some training as this has obviously not been high on the agenda in his old home.

Finley

Finley is 3 and half years, and entire.  He has been well socialised with all aspects of family life (apart from living with cats).  Good with children and other dogs.  His previous owners brought him to into another rescue due to a relationship split. Since being admitted on the 24th of Nov, Finley rapidly deteriorated in kennels, and became thoroughly depressed and withdrawn.  He is now in foster care where he doesn’t really play with toys, but loves to be with people, and loves walks. He does jump up at you if not sure of something. He has no food aggression, walks nicely on lead but can get spooked by loud noises, The first person to see this boy will take him home!

Jade - Northants

This stunning girl is 7 year old Jade who has been spayed but is not up to date with her vaccs.  She is good with children and although she is vocal with other dogs she is not aggressive, but definitely no to cats.  She does pull on the lead but a halti is doing what it says on the pack, so would benefit from some training classes and this will also help with further socialization.  When our assessor went to see her she didn't bark just wagged her tail, all in all she's a lovely dog and would make an excellent addition to any family.

Duke - Somerset

Duke is a 3 year old entire male. Dog with a super temperament. Good with kids and other dogs but not keen on cats. Owner passed away and there is nobody to care for him. Currently in foster.

Tasha - Herts

Tasha is a 5 year unspayed bitch. She has lived with young children and is a dog with a super temperament. Very obedient, this girl has settled into her foster home with no problems. She loves to play and loves affection.  Has met foster mum’s horses and just gave one of them a big kiss! Being rehomed due to a change in circumstances, along with her companion Duke.

Buddy - Harrogate

Buddy is around 2 yrs of age came to us from the pound. He did find a home but unfortunately the couple found they were expecting a baby and didn't want Buddy. This poor lad has been passed around and needs a stable home. He is at the moment in foster but that can only be till 20th Jan. as they are off to Spain. This family took Buddy in as we were given a dead line to remove Buddy and it was Christmas time. Since going into foster we have found that Buddy needs to learn some manners. He is fine in the home clean and not destructive. When out has lunged at a jogger, he was reprimanded and was fine. Buddy needs a home with grown ups and people that have had experience with the breed to show Buddy the rules once he has learnt he will make a great companion.He is in the Harrogate area.

Richie

Another that came to us his time was up, we got him out just in time he came out with Marvin who was not good on his legs we found him a lovely home. So we are now looking for the lucky family who will take Richie into their hearts. Richie is around 5 - 6 yrs he is entire and a big softie. He did go out for a very short time but the family had another dog. Richie travelled back and the first day was fine with the dog, I think he then was trying to see if he could be top of the tree,so he went back to kennels. He was fine with the children, was clean in the house. So come on he must fit into someone's home Please visit the kennels and meet Richie I am sure he will make a lovely companion once he is should the way.

Rosie - Harrogate

Rosie who we collected today. She is 7 years old and very affectionate, she is fine with other dogs and is very friendly with another little terrier we rescued at the same time She came into our home and met our dogs and cats. She is cat friendly and is just adorable. She was matted and in need of a good groom. I spent 3 hours on her today and cut her nails which were exceptionally long. She was really good for me and did not seem to mind at all. She will make a gorgeous girl for some one. She was chipped but the owner was contacted and was not prepared to pay the fees !!!Another gorgeous GSD
